As soon as we sat down in the sled, the dogs started running. cleaned (Nuka) The Eskimo sled driver grabbed the leashes of the dogs who were already howling impatiently and without another word we set off. Thus began our dog sledding journey in East Greenland, one of the most remote places on the globe. Only the barking of the dogs broke the wonderful silence. It was almost six o'clock, the sun was almost gone. My friend Anna and I sat like good Poles alone in the dark, in the sled traveling by the moonlight, somewhere in an unknown galaxy.. The illusory ride between snowy mountains in the pale white light caused both of us to uncontrollable bursts of laughter... Forget about the dog sleds in Lapland, intended for tourists who race in them for about two hours on a track plowed and well defined. The experience in it doesn't come close to the real thing. Trust me, I've been there.
